I have soured on literal Far Cry games after the last few installments, but if Arkane can put an interesting spin on the concept and do a cool open world that is less-generic feeling than most, and still capture some Dishonored/Prey magic from the studio, that seems like a recipe for a solid offering. That living world stuff includes a lot of exploration: “You'll want to see if you can get into a barn you found, climb a fire lookout tower that you spotted in the distance, or try and get into a house to read all the notes scattered inside." Or you can not give a shit about any of that and just head outside pick a direction, start hauling ass, and run into the living-world stuff that we have going on."
